As the seasons change, we are happy to be guided into our own new seasons here at The Farm.
First stop, Easter.
As we are getting ready to celebrate Easter Weekend with the springtime sun shining through to brighten our Farm, we are joyful to celebrate yet another holiday with our community. While holidays are spent with friends and family, it means so much to us that we can be a little part of those traditions. Our traditional family recipes are still used today throughout our bakery menu, especially on our Easter Menu. We have included family favorites such as our Strawberry Cheese Pie, Apple Dumplings and of course, Jerry’s Famous Buns! Our Farm Family is filled with foodies, who love to share all of our delicious treats and hope to share with you all again this Easter!
Our bakery is now accepting pre-orders & we will be having pick-ups on
Friday, April 7th 11am - 5pm - Pick-Ups in the Harvest Barn
Saturday, April 8th 9am - 12pm - Pick-ups at The Flour Cart

Spring at The Farm...
It’s so hard to believe that Spring is here. We have been super busy planning for our first Wedding of 2023 which is right around the corner. As we move from the Winter months into our warmer Spring season, it’a always such a beautiful reminder of how Jesus brings beauty and light to the darkness.
Our bulbs are popping up to bring color and beauty to the dark gray backdrop we have seen over the last few months. Seeds have been planted that then have sprouted which will one day transform into beautiful flowers that will make even the darkest days seem bright. The birds are singing louder than ever, reminding us that in just a few short weeks, warmth and sunshine will be here.
Spring is definitely one of my favorite seasons here at The Farm. It always makes me pause; to remind myself that everything here is temporary and only through Jesus do we have life. It’s by His design that there is so much beauty every where I look.
My prayer is that I have eyes to see the light even when everything looks dark in front of me. That I remember to look-up and thank the one who gave His life, so I could have mine. I’m beyond humbled, for how much He has given us here at The Farm and we are so excited to see our Farm used in so many new ways this year.
We have been busy working on plans to expand our flower gardens, as well as add a kitchen garden for edible flowers and herbs for our dessert tables. Our Groom's Suite is getting a re-fresh this year too. More details are coming soon on both of these projects.
As we head into Spring we are thankful for the opportunity for another year to serve our couples, our community, and our team of amazing people here at The Farm.
In closing, check out our new Calendar of Events page for some of our upcoming exciting events here at The Farm. We have awesome workshops with Flowers from 12th, a few upcoming Nights of Worship you will not want to miss. Don't forget , Easter is right around the corner too, but you can always order our baked goods now too! We have some great specials for the month of March for Moms & St. Patty's Day too! :-)
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support of our little Farm on Zion Hill Rd.
Warmly, Becca Lynde

Spring Updates on The Farm & Our Easter Dessert Menu........
It is hard to believe that our first Wedding is this coming Saturday! We have been super busy at The Farm trying to get all of our tasks done. Mulching, planting, cleaning, staining the new deck, picking up sticks, pulling weeds! WOW, it truly takes an army to get this place ready!

It is hard to believe that our first Wedding is this coming Saturday! We have been super busy at The Farm trying to get all of our tasks done. Mulching, planting, cleaning, staining the new deck, picking up sticks, pulling weeds! WOW, it truly takes an army to get this place ready!
Its also so easy to become so caught up in the laundry list of things to do that you miss the beauty of all that comes with Spring! When I truly take a moment to stop and look around, I see God’s beauty in so many of the small details. From the buds on the trees, to the spring flowers popping up, to the small hues of greens starting to shine through all around! Its absolutely amazing and beautiful to see our Farm and our world transformed from a cold, grey, dark and dreary backdrop to warm, bright, beautiful and colorful! Even the sounds of the birds chirping each morning get stronger and stronger.
So while my flesh easily wants to get stressed with all that we have to do and believe me it has, I have to take time to stop and pray for God’s grace and peace. For his subtle reminders every where I look, that I’m in His hands and our Farm is in His hands. I’m beyond grateful for how He continues to pour out His blessings each and every day here at The Farm! He has blessed us with amazing people who come and work here every day. With more and more couples who put their faith in trust in us for their BIG day, as well as all of our customers who make the extra trip to The Farm for some yummy baked goods!
Thank you once again for following along with our story here at The Farm and supporting what was a dream and idea a few years ago, to a flourishing business that supports so many of us behind the scenes! We are forever grateful and super excited to continue to serve our couples, their families and all of our customers for many years to come!
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in various forms."

While the children enjoy tales of bunnies and chocolate eggs, may we also be drawn to scriptures during this time. To celebrate God's word and his ultimate sacrifice of sending Jesus to the cross, to rise again and save us from our sins.
"He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God."

Spelt does contain gluten, but the gluten strength is less than wheat and many people with wheat sensitivities may be able to tolerate spelt.
